Samsung vs Apple in Dutch court is awesomely hot and insane. After Apple’s won on banning Galaxy Tab 10.1 launch, the next thing is even more insane. What? Yeah, Apple plays some “Photoshopping” evidence of Tab 10.1 copy-catting iPad.

First of all, maybe some of you are confused, why using the word photoshop? Well, photoshop already on Oxford Dictionary. Described as an act of photo-manipulation using computer software (even it’s not Photoshop).

[GSM Arena] HTC Sensation suffering from touchscreen issue

After the infamous death grip issue with the Wi-Fi on the HTC Sensation, it seems the users of this phone have one more thing to worry about. According to several users on the Internet, the HTC Sensation is suffering from an issue with the touchscreen where it becomes unresponsive after some time and fails to register some of your inputs. There is currently a 65 page thread on the xda-developers with 650 posts discussing this issue with a large number of users claiming their Sensation indeed has the aforementioned issue, suggesting that it is not limited to just a few handsets or that few people aren't applying enough pressure on their screens.

The issue seems to culminate over a period of days. Brand new phones seem to work perfectly until about a week later when the touchscreen loses its mojo and fails to register some of the inputs. This is most noticeable on the lock screen where the phone refuses to open when you try to slide the ring as it keeps slipping away.

When users tried to contact HTC regarding this matter, they did not get any answer from the company. HTC Support suggested some users to perform a factory reset but that didn’t help. Trying to replacing the handset hasn’t helped either, as some users, currently on their third or fourth Sensation, are still suffering from this issue.

We are also hearing reports of some other issues with the phone most notably with the camera, where it tends to restart the phone when you click a picture. All this suggests that the firmware on the Sensation is terribly buggy at the moment.

What is disappointing is that the Sensation is the flagship device of the company and is supposed to represent the very best HTC has to offer. But right now it seems the phone was rushed to the market without proper R&D, probably to compete with the Samsung Galaxy S II, which, although not faultless, is doing much better. Unfortunately, as with the Wi-Fi death grip issue, HTC is yet to admit the problem and give any solution to it.

‘123456’ Password Is Easy To Be Hacked

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID,JAKARTA—Hotmail users that using common password or ‘123456’ are forced to change in order to increase the security of the webmail service.

Microsoft forbids the usage of “123456” and “ilovecats” password because those passwords can be hacked by dangerous hackers with the trial-and-error technique.

“This new feature will be rolling out soon, and will prevent you from choosing a very common password when you sign up for an account or when you change your password,” Program Manager Microsoft Hotmail, Dick Craddock said.

“If you're already using a common password, you may, at some point in the future, be asked to change it to a stronger password”

The strong password consists of mix of capitals and non-capitals, number and other characters and should not be based on dictionary words or personal information like birthday.

A review reveals that some e-mail that is hacked because users are using bad password. When hackers bypass the system in Gawker, a blog network in AS, the three most general password are “123456”, “password” and “12345678”.

Microsoft also make the password settings stricter like on what Microsoft applies a feature in Hotmail that enables user to report that their friend’s account already haced by a spammer.

Then, Hotmail security system will detect if there is a breaking by checking every incoming e-mail with the message “my friend has been hacked!”. The users that is sending the e-mail are asked to change its password so that spammer can’t access it again.

Microsoft said that the alert system will be given to Google and Yahoo when a Hotmail user recieves spam from Gmail or Yahoo! Mail friends.

“We’ve had this feature turned on for only a few weeks, and we’ve already identified thousands of customers who have had their accounts hacked and helped those customers reclaim their account,” Craddock said.

Go to http://www.twitter.com from your computer browser and log in like usual.
Go to Settings and click on Application tab.
See your suspected application, and revoke the access.
Done, that will stop the suspected spam.

If you find it on a commercial or something, please record it first and save it as mp3 or other sound format.

If you stuck, don’t have anything but you can sing the song, OR just HUMMING (humm humm huuuuuummmmmm), this is great. Click and sing or hum for 10 seconds, and it’ll find the song according to its database.

Fraud: Windows Firewall Unit, A FAKE ANTISPYWARE

Just today, my brother’s laptop got this f**king fakeware. This fake antispyware named as Windows Firewall Unit. With a good interface and so trustable look in it, this is an awesome fake shit I ever see. If your computer just got this shit, you’re in the right place to read (but in rude language, because I’m so fed up when dealing with this shit).

Behavior

It blocks all 3rd party applications and pretend them as viruses, and also prevent your existing security softwares to run. It will perform a fake system scan and will always say that your system is critically at risk. They will ask the users to fix it by only one way, pay them, and this is exactly a fraud. Some sources said that even after paying them, this software might installing another fakeware again.

Interface

The interface is awesomely beautiful to trust. Even an ‘Ask for genuine Microsoft software’ pic is exist there. I’m firstly suspecting this application as a fakeware from its help. It neither says any copyright nor patent listed. I also find an oddness as this is a Firewall software, but handles all security functions (perhaps they’re all fake on this fakeware).

I’ve seen the best way is on PCHubs.com, but I found it’s fail, since Windows Firewall Unit is also starting when you log on Safe Mode. So, I’ve got the best way but still following the way from PCHubs.com. You may required to ask for administrator help for this if you don’t know the instruction I say.

Download SmitFraudFix from the official site: http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.php
After you downloaded it, move it into an easily reachable location if executed with Command Prompt.
Since Windows Firewall Unit blocks all application (Command Prompt (cmd.exe) is also blocked) and this shit still active when running in safe mode, we have a last hope: Run in safe mode with Command Prompt. To activate it, just press F8 before the Windows starts booting (the loading Windows screen), then choose Safe Mode with Command Prompt. This mode is only running cmd.exe and blocks all other programs to run, at least until you activate it through cmd.exe. That’s why we can still bypass the Windows Firewall Unit with this mode.
Run SmitfraudFix.exe from the file location. For example, if you put the file on D:, just type D: and then enter. It will access the D: folder. Then, you type SmitfraudFix.exe then enter.
A new window will appear, this is the program. Choose 2 and enter.
After SmitFraudFix performs initial removal process, then it will ask you “Do you want to clean the registry?” select Y for yes.

So that’s all folks. I’m already fed up with this shit, and alhamdulillah I’ve already fix it with my way. Thanks…

The Nokia Pure Font

Nokia pure, somewhat for purity according to Nokia’s announcement several weeks ago. This font intended for a minimalistic typography, and for beauty purposes. You can see differences on it and the previous one, Nokia Sans:

Nokia Pure is the current official font of Nokia after using Nokia Sans for more than 6 years. It’s unknown that it’ll really applied into Symbian Belle. Because some screenshots don’t include Nokia Pure font, and not using the Pure one.

The List Icons and Toolbar Icons

The List icons are common from the first Symbian S60 until Symbian Anna, but the Toolbar icons are something new. When they’re available in the current interface, this change the softkey bar into Toolbar icons. The design is somewhat similar by the iOS.

Identification

While Blackberry Messenger uses Blackberry Device PIN for identifying each user, WhatsApp will use your phone number (including country code) to identify yourself. This lead some concern, but it’s okay, if you’re not too exhibitionists and want to use it among your friends, this is still okay. However, there’s a way to make a fake PIN. Google it, I don’t want to share it.

Adding Users

WhatsApp will check your contacts and checks the number. If the number already on WhatsApp’s database, your contacts will be shown on the WhatsApp. If you want to add users, simply add new contacts on your phonebook.

Display Name

iPhone users will know your custom display name, but other platforms not. It will use your contact’s name for display name.

Send Statuses

WhatsApp supports send statuses just like BBM. If you see Clock, the message is being sent to the reciepent. If you see checkmark, the message is sent to the server. If you see double checkmark, the message is sent to the reciepent device, but not indicating the message already been read. If you see cross (X), it’s simply failed.

Deactivibility

There is no way to deactivate WhatsApp. You may force kill to close WhatsApp, but WhatsApp will spawn again and check your connection. This drains your battery, actually. When you re-enable Mobile Data after being disabled or opening WhatsApp after task-killed, it will push all message sent during your inactivity. Be sure to update your status to “unavailable” or something before doing this.

Some claims that WhatsApp is free, actually not. WhatsApp Account subscription is free for a year, and then if you mind to continue, you can pay 1.99 USD for 2 years subscription. Cheap, and this is to help them keeping their infrastructure alive. You can pay from PayPal and Google Checkout.

BlackBerry PlayBook? USD 500 Is Useless

Seems that RIM is just not fully willing to develop a tablet for competing with all existing tablet available. This tablet has no Contacts app, Notes, E-mail and even BlackBerry Messenger. This tablet heavily relies on a Blackberry handset via BlackBerry bridge, so those features mentioned before can be utilized. So sad for RIM, and all reviews says the same.

RIM also stated that they will add some features not available now. But, it’s too early to say, and this tablet is not ready to be in store yet. Then, this make their value in stock exchange lower. Poor RIM. Poor you RIM.

If I were you, I won’t use this device.

For at least a week, in IT news, we always hear about Apple suing Samsung about its violence in patents. Two of them are Samsung Galaxy S form is like iPhone, and Samsung Galaxy Tab form is like iPad (Apple said they’re exactly same). I’m not about to list all the patents are, but I want to tell the funniest story on it.

As we know, most of Apple products have ‘Samsung’s Soul’ on it. We can see Processor chip A3 and A4 that are manufactured by Samsung, Touch panel on iPad and iPhone, the new Slim SSD on the upcoming MacBook Air, etc. etc.

Regarding on it, Samsung, acting like a troller, responds to sue Apple back. Funnily, it seems that Apple still use Samsung’s hand to manufacture some part of its products.

In 2007, Samsung was never seen as a potential threat, by Apple or even Nokia at that time. But, after taking advantages on manufacturing some Apple devices’ components, Samsung getting bigger and start to make breakthrough: Samsung Galaxy S. After Galaxy S released, Samsung is now a real threat on any smartphone manufacturers.

At least, this is the second time when Apple got something like this. It firstly took when Microsoft received Macintosh prototype, then Gates obsessed on creating some stuff called GUI. When Jobs realized that the Windows (first version that time) was imitating Apple’s GUI, Gates argued to Jobs by showing on how he made it, then Jobs calmed down. Then, Jobs realized again that Windows purely imitating Mac, after seeing it directly.

We’ll see, who’s win, Samsung or Apple?

The Losing Symbian

As we know, Symbian got its popularity in 2005-2008 and most of its popularity was come from its Nokia’s creation, S60, while the others are not too popular because MOAP is only in Japan, UIQ is bankrupt and S80 and S90 are discontinued by Nokia. So, in 2010, the all Symbian source code are made open, hopefully Symbian will develop nicely and can compete with other Platform. The first open source Symbian is Symbian^3 and made its debut in Q4 2010 with Nokia N8. Okay, some people are praised the Symbian^3 but later in 2011, it’s getting worse. Nokia will use Windows Phone 7 after made agreement with Microsoft. Symbian won’t be discontinued at all, but Nokia still want to use it, but not in higher priority.

So, why Symbian is losing right now, while all analysts said its popularity won’t be down until 2013?

Well, their analysis is coming sooner, 2 years faster, in 2011. This is why Symbian is gonna be lose:

No Innovation

Nokia, as the leader of this Open Source project, seems not too serious in developing Symbian. In the other side, Nokia develops Maemo (not based on Symbian, but Linux) and seems gonna be the premier smartphone. Then, this is the result, both platforms are losing.

So, this is why Symbian is losing right now, and sometimes everything should be changed, and have its own portion.

RIM and Dalvik Virtual Machine

BlackBerry is seeing a potential of implementing Dalvik Virtual Machine, as they need a Java Virtual Machine for its BlackBerry PlayBook. Some sources said that this opening opportunity for Android apps running in PlayBook. Is that true? And will Dalvik really implemented in PlayBook? Let’s find out here.

Will Dalvik really implemented?

The opportunity is BIG YES. Why? Google will never try to block something that may resist their profitability (except somewhat in Facebook, Google removed Gmail support for Facebook Friend Finder). Google will easily accept the implementation of Dalvik on BlackBerry PlayBook. Google has a motto: “Don’t be evil.”

Will Android applications really compatible with PlayBook if so?

I think it’s a big no. Why? I have several reasons on it:

Android needs at least three main buttons to work: Menu, Home and Back. Even if the Back button implemented on screen, several application will have trouble on it, especially full-screen application. I’m seeing that Blackberry PlayBook doesn’t have any physical main function button (CMIIW).
PlayBook OS is not based on Linux, so the system files architecture won’t be same. Android apps will never go to Blackberry in native way. Dalvik Virtual Machine is only for recompiling all running Java Applications to be native to the machine (C++ in Android). So, while Dalvik is really implemented in PlayBook, there’s no way Android application will go to PlayBook, except, there is an Android emulator in PlayBook, but it’s really impossible in BlackBerry’s history.

Dalvik is currently ported for Ubuntu

Can you infer something from this? I can infer that Dalvik is only providing a way to communicating Java applications into machine, natively. So, when Dalvik is really really go to PlayBook, it won’t be matter.

Take a sigh, but this only my opinion. Byee… I’m not giving you any conclusion here…

Why People Are Asking for RT When They Got Limit?

OH GOD… They’re not even a celebrity, so why they’re acting so narcist like that? For those who annoyed to them who always RT some people who got limit, or just informing that someone got limit, you got the place, I’m also annoyed to those people.

This especially happen in Indonesia, I dunno for other country but this maybe common on Indonesia. Some of you may often experiencing this before August 31st, 2010, but after Twitter implementing OAuth secure login system and shut down the old one, this problem actually solved and STILL covers normal Tweeting behavior (this also solves the damn fail whale).

So what is it now? A lot of Indonesian tweeps always do this: when got limit, their friend inform it with hashtag #infolimit and the followers helps, then the followers of the follower also help. What the hell is this? Well, some believe that this make the limit passes faster, like this.

Introduction of Android Market

Android market is the official place where you want to download applications, just like the Apple AppStore, Nokia Ovi Store, Windows Marketplace, etc. Android Market is the only Mobile Store with the greatest free apps available, 55%. All you have to do is only log in with your Google Account, and voila, the market is there. You will know how to use this application because you don’t need any technical learning. You will probably install Facebook and Twitter at first, lol.

Overwhelmingly Increased Bills

For those who ever firstly met with Android phone, you may experiencing problems that your phone bill/balance will exploded/drains rapidly as you have the Android phone. Okay, that is the cause of the push notification and account sync. Turning those things off when you don’t need it will avoid overwhelmingly increased bills or your balance drained drastically.

To turn it off, go to Menu from your Homescreen, and then Settings. Then, tap Accounts and Sync. Then you can turn off Background data and Auto-Sync.

Turn it off only when you have unlimited data plan or you’re in WiFi connection. ps: Twitter or Facebook (only Froyo and higher for Facebook) will not push any updates when you turn Auto-sync off. You can individually switch which account you want to be synced automatically.

Conserve Battery

By default, Android turns on Mobile Data Network and higher network class like UMTS (3G) or EVDO. This drains your battery that your phone is always connected to the internet and being in 3G/EVDO when available. To turn it off, go to Settings (from menu, as usual) then tap Wireless and Networks, and go to Mobile Networks.

Turn off Data Enabled and Data Roaming when you don’t need it. You can only turn on Data Enabled when you need it.

p.s.: In Android 2.1 (Éclair) and lower, Data Enabled is known as Always-On Mobile Data. The option to enable/disable mobile data is only available when you’re not connected into any WiFi networks. Turning off WiFi networks when you don’t need it will also conserve your battery. Syncs also won’t run when you turn any data connections off.

Adjusting the brightness also helps you to conserve battery. Go to Settings then Sound & Display Settings, then tap Brightness. Adjust as you want.

Also, avoid to use Live Wallpapers as it takes more battery resources.

Rooting System

Root is actually common term in any Unix Operating System. Root is actually similar to Administrator in Windows. As Android is based on Linux (Linux is also Unix. Linux is abbreviation of Linus Unix, referring to Linus Trovalds, the owner of Linux’ patent), Root access is also available, but hidden and restricted. Rooting Android will result to access OS components, installing any root-required applications and even customizing your android. But for some vendors, this will void your warranty.

Upgrading Your Android

Upgrading Android is one common geeky reason on using it. Officially, refer to your vendor to get it. Any available updates may vary between any vendors. But, on the internet, there are so many leaked and unofficial firmwares available. They have their own way to upgrade. But, this may void your warranty. If you don’t want to void the warranty, just wait the vendor to release the update.

I Share My Thoughts, I’m Really Amazed!

Err yea, this post is about my thoughts about the recent of the world of phone.

Existence of Java Games

Okay then, I really really amazed that Java Games is gonna wiped away as native platform is more preferred as it doesn’t need any virtualization (most Java applications are running above software (JRE), not in hardware). Native applications, especially games, have better performance, graphics but it’s smoother to perform, but as drawback, it consumes more of your phone resources. However, the graphic is actually as good as PlayStation 2.

Brand is #4, OS is #3 and Specification is #2, Price is #1

If long ago, the big brother (Nokia), is the leader, now, it’s not really. Most phones already showing it’s fury. Low prices, high specification, is becoming common. Brand is not really have an effect. OS is gonna dominated by Android.

Then?

Swype Touch Input Method

Swype, yea, it’s already long long ago since it' released (firstly on Samsung Omnia II), is a input method using line trails on what you sweep on screen. It’s actually a predictive text input method similar to T9 on traditional phones.

It achieved a new Guinness World Record (in touch input) of 34.54 sec with Samsung Omnia II on March 22nd 2010 and improved with Samsung Galaxy S in 25.94 sec on August 22nd (record set with 26 words trial).

How to swype?

Just trail on your desired letters to form a word, and Swype will predict the word what you’re actually to swype, or if Swype is confused, it will show you some word to choose and save it for later usage.

It will produce word “quick” as the trail line passes Q, U, I, C and K.

How to get it?

Actually, not all touch phones are capable to start swyping. It mostly available as OEM or simply pre-installed by the manufacturer. Samsung Omnia II, Samsung Galaxy S, Huawei Comet, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Motorola Droid X, Motorola i1, Motorola CliqXT are the example of phones pre-installed on your phone. Refer to your phone manual to get it.

For Nokia users, a version for Symbian^3 already released on Ovi Store. Check your Ovi Store if you have a Symbian^3 devices. For Symbian^1 devices you can go here.

Mobile Gaming Platform War

Mobile gaming, not to be confused with portable gaming. Mobile gaming is any act of gaming that using a cell phone or its derivative. It’s different than portable gaming, that is the console usually a full gaming machine like PSP, DS, etc. Mobile phones that designed to be a game console usually have a full-functioned telephony features and near-computerized things, as they’re usually using an open OS (installable with 3rd Party Applications). However, experts in 2008 predicted that mobile gaming will reach its highest point at 2011, as people will spend most of their money to it. But most of them still think that the Java Games will do, but now, they’re wrong. Java Games is somehow fading away, but still exist on entry-level-phones until middle-end-phones.

This time, I wanna explain about the platform that is exist on the mobile gaming, as somehow this is so hot now. These are the contenders:

N-Gage by Nokia

The N-Gage 1st Generation and the N-Gage 2nd Generation

N-Gage is the first mobile dedicated gaming platform. Nokia decided to make it as it saw that people are carrying their GameBoy Advance alongside with their phone together. So, Nokia create this. Despite its critics on the phone design, N-Gage showed huge success. However, somehow in 2005, N-Gage development was disappeared, and later confirmed that Nokia is developing for the next N-Gage. The popularity of N-Gage is so huge that when the next N-Gage is developed, a fan-concept spawned, the N-Gage Neo, as you know it already. But, that was wrong, Nokia is porting the platform into various Symbian S60 3rd Gen phones.

Then, the second generation of N-Gage was released. This one have a huge success too, although not as great as the first. N-Gage is now a gaming platform rather than a game console. Now you have the dashboard, and your N-Gage account in N-Gage Arena. But, Nokia was already stopped support and new games of N-Gage 2.0 in October 2010 although the site is still exist and Ovi Games is still points to N-Gage site. It’s also unknown whether Nokia already make another confirmation. I don’t know.

Until now, there is no significant things from Sony Ericsson, but this is the image from Engadget. Engadget is always good at releasing a news about prototype leak.

Nothing you can expect right now, it’s . But, you must know that Sony Ericsson is using Android Gingerbread (2.3) on its PlayStation and 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 512 MB RAM. Huge and nice enough.

Guides On Composing Password

Password, the word to pass something. However, the usage is now different. Usually refers to computing purposing or at least, if not on computing, used widely on briefcase. This post will show you on how to make a strong password.

Okay, we all should know, most sites and softwares require us to make a password in at least for 6 characters long. Then, we always do that on 6, because we’re too lazy to make it longer.

SHOULD: Never use number-only password

Number-only password, even you make it as long as you can handle, still dangerous because number combination is easily guessed with some tricks. This also including the hexadecimal numbers (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B, C, D, E, F). Then, you can combine it with alphanumeric-combination (but for alphabets, don’t make it only A – F).

SHOULD: As Long As Possible

After you make any combination of your password, before do that, you should see that you should make it longer to make any guessing method harder. You can use at least 8 characters since it’s determined long enough. Or, if you dare, you can use more than 16 or near 30 characters.

OPTIONAL: Use symbols

You can use these characters:

!@#$%^&*()_+-=,./;’[]\<>?:”{}|`~

any use on these characters, at least one, makes the password stronger significantly.

DON’T: Use your birthdate

Ahh… I think all people already know about this.

DON’T: Use words that is found in Dictionary

By hearing this name, most Indonesian should be scared because this is one of the most common ghost in Indonesia. Pocong (in Javanese) is originally a corpse that is wrapped with a cover called Kaffan (equivalent with Jewish Shrouds) before his/her funeral. It’s done in Moslems culture. The definition developed into a form of a ghost and myths said that Pocong is a ghost who seek for revenge because his/her Pocong rope is not released after the burial is done.

Facebook E-Mail Service will replace the conventional Inbox feature in Facebook. It means, your Facebook account will able to receive any e-mail message from any addresses.

Rumors said that Facebook already bought fb.com domain for placing all the e-mail address on it. It probably you will have e-mail with * @fb.com.

This service will able to attach any files, just like the other e-mail service.

This time I wanna tell you about Valve who is becoming so ambitious for the last 4 years. Valve is known for its games like CounterStrike, Half-Life, Left 4 Dead and the game delivery platform called Steam. Valve is gonna lead the way of game. Why? These reasons (based on my opinion) may can tell you more:

Steam, way of Valve to publish and deliver games

Steam is superior on this and still leading. It is also more dominating that this also available throughout Mac. It also set as the future way to deliver game, as the internet speed is dramatically increased. Oh, several game developer or publisher also use Steam to deliver their games, including Electronic Arts. As we know also, Valve is known for the online gaming environment. So, what is this mean? Valve is even bigger on this.

Portal, once a free game, become shareware astonishing game.

Portal, the game that derived from a free game called Narbacular Drop. Why can? Valve hired those DigiPen Institute of Technology students who developed it to do project of Portal. Powered with Source Game Engine, this game is making a new genre of game. And for your info, the real Portal game will be in its sequel, Portal 2, in 2011. The first one was only the introduction of the game. Despite this was only introduction, however, the game achieved 50 awards, so amazing. From this, it’s know that Valve is searching for talents and make it “real” and “true”.

AlienSwarm, once a Mod, become a real game.

This game is firstly a mod from a game called Unreal Tournament 2004. However, UT2004 is not developed by Valve but using Source Engine by Valve. But, in late 2007 the developed blog is stopped and remaining the game unclear. In July 2010, it’s revealed that Valve hired them. Nice one…

DotA 2, firstly a mod from Warcraft 2, become a real game.

This game is well known among gamers. I don’t want to explain it more. But, shocking news is there when Valve hiring IceFrog to make DotA 2 on the Source Engine. Nice one, Valve is doing the same thing again. They state that DotA 2 won’t changed at all. Seriously, only the graphics gonna better.

From those examples, we can know that Valve is actually searching for talents and make it on them, seriously Valve games is not as many as EA, Eidos, Ubisoft, Square-Enix, etc. But Valve games are usually great, as it does.

Hey, some of you, maybe some for Indonesians, you may see these annoying Twitter accounts. These are them and the explanation:

In the tweet: “alayers don’t fight, for sure! :x”.

Alay literally means the outdated pity people who want to make their own mode style. Usually associated with poor people. However, all about alay has been repeatedly posted on this blog, here and here. Despite on the name, Alayers actually have an outdated style of typing on the net and SMS, which is popular circa 2004-2005. Since there is no real Alay people interested with Twitter (I don’t know why, but the simplicity of Twitter has its limitations among them), Indonesians are joking around about them in Twitter, and led to a person who make an account and leave it with a bot to search public tweets who said certain thing such as 4L4Y or alay or whatever else. People started to be annoyed.

In the tweet: “baby, can I join your buber? ”

Buber or Bukber literally means Buka Puasa Bersama or in English is To Break Fast Together (Not to be confused with breakfast). This form of gathering is always exist on the holy month of Ramadhan, the Islamic fasting ritual. People who in this kind of gathering are gather in the dusk then waiting for the Maghrib athan, when they are permitted to eat/drink. So, when the previous Ramadhan, Buka Puasa Bersama is so common and popular way to gather and hang out in a food place. People are planning this on Twitter, then this account created, and use Justin Bieber name. This account use the same method with the previous one, but this rather make a 3rd party application which is already popular, Twitterfeed. However, this blog use Twitterfeed to deliver its content via RSS, not by search.

In the tweet: “Dirty mouth! Let me wash it. RT @????? ASSHOLE!”

Tukang Sabun Cuci means the Washing Soap Seller. Actually, this is better, I ‘d rather like it. It generates its tweets when people said dirty words in Bahasa Indonesia such as “Ngentot” (fuck, to copulate), “Bangsat” (asshole), or etc. However, the method of tweeting still same.

In the tweet: “Brother, why you talking like that? RT @????? fuck, why fb have no walltowall anymore -,-"

Adik Balita simply means kid. This tweet still have same method as mentioned above. So, this tweet reminds people among their words, such as “Ngentot” (fuck, to copulate), “Kontol” (penis), etc. However, I actually also like this tweet.

How this is done actually?

As stated before, they (the bots) do search for public timeline and just old-style-RT them. So, I think some of you actually annoyed with them. There are soooo many Twitter account like this. To avoid these tweets messing around you, I have 2 simple tips for you:

Watch your tweets, actually, adik_Balita and tukangsabuncuci is the way better. They warns your word nicely, and bring you letting the Scandal-like-things far far away from you.
Just protect your account. They will not be able to locate your tweets

Just don’t ask me how to create it. Although I know the way, but it’s nonsense to tell it to you.

Creating 3D Anaglyph Images using Photoshop

Yea, I found the tutorial here. But I just cut the way and I create it in my way. So, keep your reading and keep trying. This is the way to create it.

As you know that 3D vision is become common now, in cinemas, in your HDTVs or right in your computer. So, this post will tell you about how to create anaglyph 3D images with 1 2 3 simple steps.

This what we about to create, the result.

First of all, if you wanna try this tutorial surely, just download this (http://www.alaska-in-pictures.com/data/media/7/gorgeous-scenery_3921.jpg) and open it on your Adobe Photoshop.

Yeah, just open it. For sure…

Okay, when you open the image, just duplicate it.

Drag the layer and you’ll get a duplicate.

After duplicating, click the fx icon then select Blending Options… (make sure you’re about to styling duplicated layer)

Yes, just do it.

Then, you will see this:

In the advanced blending group, uncheck R in the Channels. (R is Red)

After that, click OK and nudge/move your duplicated layer to left.

Cut the edge to avoid unwanted edge caused by your duplicated layer.

Then, your anaglyph image is already there .

tip: using 2 images from 2 different (but not too far different) angles to resemble your 2 eyes is better to get the effect.

Windows Internet Explorer 9 Beta Review

Yes, this is a big leap on IE9 (so called big leap, I always said this on previous reviews, whatever). Microsoft has improved some features on this version. HTML5 support, faster JScript engine and New Interface.

This browser is the largest of user using it. But it’s just Microsoft shipped this browser to the OS and Windows is also having the largest market share. Okay, I only have a little review here but there is something interesting here. You’ll know later, so keep on this post and make sure you read it to the end.

Performance

Yes, I feel that this browser loads faster. Nice one. Then, I still see some ‘not satisfactory’ on this browser. Yes, the capability to round some places, like this:

This what I’m not satisfied with. The top is rendered with Mozilla Firefox 3.6.8, than Internet Explorer 9 Beta on the bottom. Compare it by yourself.

About the Acid3 Test, It’s good enough, almost perfect: 95/100.

Facebook says 200,000 of its member die every year. (That puts Facebook’s death % at about half of the world average).

But, annoyingly a few months after your dead friend not logged in, Facebook will show this:

Facebook used to delete that account once they found its owner is dead. But after the 2007 Virginia Tech shootings, Facebook creates a feature that will let that profile memorialized. It will make that profile can’t find by the search, but for those you already be a friend on Facebook before the owner of the profile died, you still can leave a memoriam message on his/her wall.

Oh, you forgot to log out? Sick! Sick! But don't worry, help is in the way. Facebook is creating a system that helps you to fully control where your account logged on.

For example, in a condition you use public computers like Internet Cafe to log on Facebook. Then, you forgot to log it out. You can easily check in another place to log on Facebook then log the forgotten place out. Another example is when you have to borrow your friend's device to log on then you walk away leaving your session logged on. You can also do the same thing on the device.

This also implement the previous system that only authorized places (as you define it or automatically configured) allowed to log on. You can also block the strange active session (e.g. someone who want to abuse your account). So, you will take full control of Facebook Nice one, this is what I like on Facebook.

Today, Twitter is shutting down the old method. Hey, what’s different actually? And what is this earth on? Okay, let me explain you one by one about this, for newbies and geeks.

What is oAuth actually?

oAuth is the open secure method (open as in open source) for storing any data on the web. Most notable services using it is the Facebook and Twitter. If you ask “When Facebook asking authorization from me using oAuth?”, I will answer: when you authenticating an application.

When a Facebook Application wants to request permission with oAuth method.

When a Twitter Application wants to request permission with oAuth method.

What’s different between the old and the oAuth one?

You’ll get more secure authentication.
You’ll get API rate of 350/hour rather than 135/hour, so that you will get less “API Rate Limit Reached” on applications using oAuth method.

Secure? Really?

Yes, for sure. With oAuth method, all application will be asked within Twitter, not from the application, except the creator of software implemented this nicely. But, for sure all Twitter application using webpages like Dabr or Moblie Tweete will authenticate directly from Twitter. It also secures you from phishing.

What’s The Effect on The All Applications using old method?

I expect You’ll unable to use that application to access twitter.

Solution?

You’ll need to update your software if that software still uses the old method (for the non-webpages). If your software have an ability to see API Rate, check whether this is 350/hour or not.

Nokia Ovi Browser Beta

Nokia is currently creating a new Browser, called Ovi Browser. For now, only Nokia S40 phones were given, and there is not likely a version for Symbian S60, Symbian^3 and Maemo ported. Symbian-based OS (from Nokia) is already equipped with a Netscape-based browser and Maemo has the Mozilla-based browser equipped. Okay, Nokia Beta Labs said that this browser has a compression method over the air about 90%, somewhat similar to Opera Mini.

Testing Nokia Messaging for IM Touch (Beta)

Since this is still a beta, I will criticize it a lot (Beta, you know lah!). Okay, actually this application is currently designed for Nokia N97 and Nokia N97 Mini, but somehow works on Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. It seems true because it works slowly on 5800xm (I use that device).

Performance

As I stated before, slow. However, I don’t know when it is installed for Nokia N97 and its mini version.

User Friendly?

Yes, and the interface is very very prospective than its brother, for the IM one.

Connection

Fail, only YM works. The rests are still on problem.

Features

Nokia Messaging for IM serves basic features on Instant Messaging, and lack of nudge feature. No file transfer and avatar display too on it. Interestingly, we can save the conversation.

Okay, this likely will be a great tool for Nokia phones. However, the full version already available for non-touch screen phones, so head to the Ovi Store and get it. For the touch one, you can go to http://betalabs.nokia.com and sign in with your Ovi account to download. Happy trying.

Photoshop Will Got Autosave Feature

There is nothing stressed more than this shit: when you got your work on computer, you lose it with any ways like BSOD, Crashes, Damn Blackout, etc and it can’t be recovered. – narcistically me.

Okay, did you ever hope the developers on Adobe creates the Autosave feature into Photoshop? If so, yes, after some investigation by Adobe to Photoshop’s fans on June 22nd, it can be concluded that fans need the Autosave feature. As described on here (lol, another thing to implicitly say I’m lazy):

Saving large files can take minutes or hours and if it happens when you’re not expecting it, it can severely interrupt your work. We are exploring two features: autorecover and autosave. Autorecover means that a separate copy of the open file would be saved to another location. If the system becomes unstable, Photoshop would recover your work from that file. Autosave means that the open file is saved, which overwrites the existing file. Autosave would actually save a temporary copy first and then overwrite the original, in the event that the system becomes unstable during the save.

Both features would have the option to be turned off and allow you to change the interval at which they occur. Which feature would you prefer, autorecover or autosave or both? How would you use these features? What options would be important to you?

Facebook "Threatens" FourSquare

Places Application for iPhone had been previously released. Now, Facebook users with Web-Browser-enabled smartphone, also with geo-location and HTML5 can use places through the http://touch.facebook.com.

Unfortunately, this service is only available for United States now. “If you’re not in US, you can only see your friends in US. And you, (outside the US) still can’t check-in yet,” as Zuckerberg said on Places Launching at the Facebook Headquarter, North California.

The board of directors for both companies have already approved the deal, though it still requires approval from McAfee shareholders and regulators, Intel said in an announcement.

Intel said security is now a major issue within the company, but "today's security approach does not fully address" many of today's new Internet-connected devices, including wireless devices.

"With the rapid expansion of growth across a vast array of Internet-connected devices, more and more of the elements of our lives have moved online," Paul Otellini, Intel president and chief executive, said in a statement. "In the past, energy-efficient performance and connectivity have defined computing requirements. Looking forward, security will join those as a third pillar of what people demand from all computing experiences."

When the deal is closed, McAfee will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Intel, reporting to Intel's software and services group. It will be managed by Renée James, Intel senior vice president and general manager of software and services.

"Hardware-enhanced security will lead to breakthroughs in effectively countering the increasingly sophisticated threats of today and tomorrow," said James. "This acquisition is consistent with our software and services strategy to deliver an outstanding computing experience in fast-growing business areas, especially around the move to wireless mobility."

James said she expects to introduce an Intel-McAfee product during the next year.

Dave DeWalt, president and chief executive of McAfee, said the acquisition will "result in our ability to deliver a safer, more secure and trusted Internet-enabled device experience."

This application now have more more features than the previous one. More sources, you can even take a video from your webcam. You can also create AutoMovie themes, just like Muvee in some old Nokia Symbian devices. This also has the Visual Effects to create effects on the video. Good application!

And now, the Windows Live Writer is rich and has the Ribbon UI, just like the Microsoft Office. Having photo-effect, full featured formattings, and even more. This app is now have font-size and font chooser. The things those don’t exist on the previous one.

Mozilla Firefox 4 Beta Review

Mozilla Firefox 4 has a big change than the previous version. Okay, although that is true, but yea, this is not an innovation at all. Okay, let’s see the Firefox now.

Okay, this is the Firefox 4 Beta. Hey, is this really different than the previous one? yes, really really different. Actually, the Linux version is coming soon, and when this post posted, only Windows and Mac got the preview. I think maybe GTK is unable to have any custom-designed window, so they maybe make a custom window UI by their self, I don’t know. Anyway, most Windows applications are also unable to create a custom UI for Luna (Windows XP VisualStyle). They’re rather having their own UI window (for example: Microsoft Office 2007, Microsoft Office 2010, Digsby, etc.), although the one application that can accomplish it is Safari 4 Beta (later this UI is also discontinued).

Just, like Microsoft Office 2007 that only have one central button called Office Button, Firefox got this too, and ironically similar than Opera 10.5x.

Nah, this is the most part I like. The Add-Ons Manager. Soon, this place is a single place to seek for Add-Ons. The search add-ons feature is better than the previous one, and this Add-Ons manager UI is similar with the Mozilla Fennec (Firefox for Mobile) and even the Mozilla Add-Ons.

Symbian^4 UI Hint on Symbian^1 and even Symbian^3

Well, this is great for Symbian enthusiasts, because an application take a good solution on how the UI is designed. This is Orange Wednesdays. This application is providing movie information, where you wanna watch the movie, and even ticketing (ticketing is for Orange UK only).

Well, Orange Wednesdays is firstly developed for iOS. When this application’s developer think on what UI is should be, they choose neither iOS UI design nor Native-Symbian^1 UI. They choose to use Symbian^4 UI design! However, this software is about to be developed on Nokia N8, which runs Symbian^3.

Then, you have to compare the right/bottom picture with the Symbian^4 Proposal screenshot:

Yet, this is trully a clue for the upcoming Symbian^4. I become optimistic by seeing this. Previously, I pessimist about the UI. Let’s see, this UI can rock on 2011 or not. We’ll see.

About 47% Twitter users are using a Twitter Client service rather than using the web Twitter or the Mobile Web. They rather using a client. This is too reasonable that Twitter is lack of features beside just tagging, and texting about 160 chars.

Okay, for those who always use clients, there is something you have to know. These features are common to Twitter Client.

Link Shortener

You think: By automatically shorten link, I can reserve more characters.

The fact: Yes, that is absolutely true. But, when you use web or mobile web, you still have to go to http://bit.ly or other shortlink generator to shorten link manually.

Old-Style Retweet

You think: Retweeting can link my conversation.

for example: user2 it’s surely not you! Haha RT @user1: @user2 not me not me, forgive me :p :p :p

The fact: That’s true, but you’re exposing any other tweets to everyone, and make the protected tweets become useless. Also, when your tweet is over characters, there’s nothing recorded. Actually Twitter is providing a conversation records. Simply click or tap (touchscreens) In reply to… to get this.

Tweet Longer

You think: I can tweet longer than limited, so I can freely tweet on my own.

The fact:

Every longer tweet are given a link to longer tweet provider, but most people don’t want to click it because it requires to open browser. Then, this hurts for those who use phone balance without any data plan.
The continuation of your tweets are not stored by Twitter, it’s on 3rd party server. So, Twitter has no guarantee on this.
If your mention someone, and your mention is on the continuation tweet as described before, your tweet will not received by him/her.

Myloc and Geotagging

Since this feature is having side on the developers, let me tell.

Developers think: I can use 3rd party app to see where you are, and when you want it.

Fact for developers: Actually, Twitter supports geotagging by default.

You think: This is cool! I have GPS phone and gonna tell it to everybody. (maybe :p)

The fact: There is a security concern, your life will be easily stalked.

Keong Racun?

Hey!? What on earth and why Keong Racun is being trending topic right now? Yea, Indonesia, a country that having approximately 20 % – 30 % of Internet penetration right now, has been broke the trending topic again and again. But why this is trending now?

Keong Racun (literally means Poisonous Conch) is actually a song in Dangdut House Koplo genre. Dangdut House Koplo (Koplo is pronounced as its text) is a genre of Dangdut, combined with House Disco. This genre is actually consumed by the Low-Income people. But, this become popular, after Sinta and Jojo lip-synchronized (lipsync) it and uploaded it on YouTube. Unfortunately, all media in Indonesia forgot the original singer or the composer.

Jojo and Sinta (CMIIW for the position :p)

Actually, this act is not originally done. Because there are two people from Philippines did this. They’re known as Moymoy Palaboy. I don’t know why Sinta and Jojo become popular, but I think they’re beautiful and cute enough so that people won’t likely criticize them of did what Moymoy Palaboy did, lol. Honestly, I still like Moymoy Palaboy more than Sinta and Jojo, because they’re more extreme in attracting YouTube users than the Indonesian one.

They’re actually students from an university in Bandung, and they’re 1991-born.

Koprol – Indonesian Location-Based Social Media

Koprol, the name maybe so strange for you. Or, for Indonesian, the name itself is somewhat like a martial arts movement to roll your body horizontally with your 2 hands and 2 feet. This is social media, fully Indonesian social media. But, after this Social Media site was acquired by one of the largest site portal, Yahoo!, it become popular.

Forget about the well-known FourSquare that only can check in some place and filling venues. This is not actually different from the existing social networking, but this is great. It combines Facebook, Geotagging from Twitter and locations on Foursquare. Maybe Yahoo! interested to acquire because of this, and it’s not impossible to spread out this service to worldwide. Yahoo! owns it now, and the headquarter of Koprol still in Jakarta.

One thing that is really unique on this social media, you don’t need a fancy GPS phone to tell where your location is. Just check in a place by typing keyword, and Koprol will tell you what’s happening nearby. But, it’s required to have your phone GPRS enabled :hammer:.

This is great having an Indonesian media got interested. So this is maybe a leap to Indonesian ICT progress further. Hope so…!

TuiTwit (pronounced : TwitTweet) is somewhat like Mobile Tweete, but plus uploading pictures. This Twitter client also support Tweet Longer feature.

NgüberTwitter (Platform: xHTML (Regular mobile web browser), Web: http://ngubertwitter.abifathir.com/)

NgüberTwitter (pronounced: NgooberTwitter, literally means Chasing Twitter) is a parody of the well-known Blackberry OS Application called ÜberTwitter. I think the naming history is for joking the others and to strike the Phenomenon of Blackberry trends in Indonesia.

The features is also rich, including uploading to Twitpic. And yet, this client does not support Tweet Longer feature.

Facebook New Feature: “I Like Your Comment”

Like feature was introduced in 2009. And this feature has a great impact on how Facebook users interact. Okay, now Facebook adds like button in the comments to help something is markedly useful or somehow great.

This is very useful if the case is you’re asking to all of your Facebook friends online via status, then you easily got best comment if friends are liking his/her comment. Unfortunately, although this feature is new (15 minute before this post posted), it still not available (maybe with) yet.

p.s.: I don’t care button can be found on Mozilla Firefox Add-on and Google Chrome Extension by searching Fbosf on their extension sites.

Apple Kicks Adobe Flash Out

Steve Jobs is in action. Jobs criticize Adobe at all… But, obviously, the fault can’t be determined from which side.Okay, we’ll begin with Apple’s statement.

Steve Jobs

From the open letter by Steve Jobs for Adobe, it can be concluded that:

Apple wants something open with the Web, not closed or proprietary one, because Web is universal.
Apple disclaims the Adobe’s statement that Apple devices won’t be able to access 75% of Web. Apple states that actually, 40% web contents (especially video) are in H.264 format that is read on Apple devices. Apple also claims that it won’t miss flash games, since there is so many free Games that natively support Apple devices in App Store.
Apple states that Adobe is #1 reason of the Mac OSX crash. Apple also use the Symantec’s report that Flash is having a worse security issue.
Apple also stated that Adobe’s H.264 video render in flash drains more power because it’s decoded on the software, not hardware.
Flash is not-friendly for the touch interface, since its behavior of hovering. There is no hovering on touch interface.

The important is, this statement:

“Flash was created during the PC era – for PCs and mice. Flash is a successful business for Adobe, and we can understand why they want to push it beyond PCs. But the mobile era is about low power devices, touch interfaces and open web standards – all areas where Flash falls short.” –Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Inc.

Okay, now, from Adobe. Adobe disclaims that if Adobe Flash is crashed, it’s on your fault. Taking the guilty on the Mac OSX, since Mac OSX is pretended have a #1 reason of crash by Adobe Flash.

“If Flash is the #1 reason that Macs crash, which I’m not aware of, it has as much to do with the Apple [Mac] OS.” –Shantanu Narayen, CEO of Adobe Inc.

Adobe responds by dealing with that thing, leaving Apple. Adobe will now focus on the other platforms. But, there is a problem: Adobe Flash CS5 that is designed for Flash developers launched last 12 April still supports iPhone. So, this may shocking news on Adobe.

In other hand, Adobe strengthen its relationship with Google to respond this issue.

And Now, what it goes that Apple bans Flash and AIR for the Apple Devices.

Chinese got it again, 3 weeks after the launch of iPad by Apple, the fake one was released. It was happened because the high demand of iPad, but Apple suspend it for releasing it worldwide until the end of April.

Left 4 Dead 2: The Passing

This is the first add-on for Left 4 Dead 2. This add-on will deliver all the original Left 4 Dead’s casts back and meets them with Left 4 Dead 2’s casts.The Passing adds 3 new maps, taking place between the Dead Center and Dark Carnival, and they meet (the L4D2’s cast) with the L4D cast. There is also a new special zombies called Fallen Survivor. They’re well equipped zombie as they’re formerly a survivor.

The new mode also added, and hosted within Ssteam. It’s the mutation, that the play condition is applied by Valve, that will be Realism Versus or Chainsaw Massacre.

You can get it for 540 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360 and free for PC.

iPhone Next Generation Found In The Bar? Really?

I’ve took all the material from Gizmodo. But I didn’t loosely cited it, but I will give you with my style of posting.

Yea, this is old news, but still hot. Gizmodo found it in the bar in Redwood. The phone is lost, they’ve already got the interface after a while, they should be disappointed because the all functions of the Next Generation of iPhone are inactive. Gizmodo also said that this is surely because of the remote phone lock.

Okay, the story goin’ like this: An Apple Software Engineer working on the iPhone Basebands, went to his birthday party in a Bar in Redwood City. But, unfortunately he lost his iPhone Prototype.

So, this is maybe a great mistake.

Opera Mini Rocks The Apple App Store

Finally, the Opera Mini get invaded App Store. So, iPhone users will not doubt about their data costs to the usage of internet. Why Opera Mini can enter the App Store? Because Apple will not let the other application with the same function as it preloaded before (built-in features), this app actually can’t be approved if one thing is missing.

Did you ever noticed why some people protecting their tweets? Yup, so do I. My private Twitter account (not account for this blog) is also protected.

Yeah, if you think so and don’t know why and how is the detail reason, I’ll give you what it is.

Avoiding human-error in your tweet

If you ever noticed the hashtag Marsha and the scandal about it, you will know the main reason. This is done to make your tweets safe although you already insults something rudely.

How that done…

If you protected your tweet, if you replying to the person who does not follow you, the tweet will not received, unless your tweet is retweeted with your friends that unprotect their tweet.

Start Protecting Tweet…

Go to Settings on your Twitter page.

then, on that page, scroll to the bottom and see Tweet Privacy and check the Protect my tweets.

iPhone OS 4.0, Will You Amazed Or Not?

Okay, for you, the Apple-freaks, will see something good on this update. Why, it has 100 new features applied on the OS.

Okay, but from those 100 features, only 4 is pioneered as the key features. We’ll see then, but you must notice it whenever the OS is released.

This iPhone OS upgrade can be applied into iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 2nd Gen (late 2008) and iPod Touch 3rd Gen (late 2009).

So these are the so called pioneer of the updates.

Multitasking

For a modern and advanced OS like iPhone, adding Multitasking for now is a sick thing, although the interface is claimed to be the best. Why? Because Windows Mobile, Symbian (starting from S60, S80, S90, UIQ and MOAP), and Linux Distros those are for mobile (including Android, MontaVista and Maemo) already added this functionality since its initial release. And, Multitasking is one of ‘must’ old-fashioned features added lately to iPhone. (Previously 3G Capabilities (iPhone 3G), support 3rd Party Software (iPhone 3G), MMS (iPhone 3GS) and Video Camera (iPhone 3GS)).

errr… honestly this is the good thing for mobile e-mail client. But, capabilities for opening attachments in 3rd party apps is still late. Some other OS have done this.

iBooks

It’s hard to say, but iBooks is also good. I’ve seen the interface on an iPad and this is good enough. But, we’ll see because previously Kindle is also on iPhone OS. Since Apple’s App Store strict rules not to create all the features originally built on the iPhone. (this also makes Opera Mini can’t enter iPhone OS). We’ll see about this… because the built-in, is added later after the 3rd party.

April Fool of Google: Topeka!

Today, Google desired to change its company name after a city in Kansas, Topeka.

They say that this name will be troublesome, because of the verb “Google” will be changed into “Topeka”. Lol, it’s a fun joke, because the “Google” name is already expensive. So? They should sacrifice all the things out.

This is the dramatic changes to this name:

A change this dramatic won’t happen without consequences, perhaps even some disruptions. Here are a few of the thorny issues that we hope everyone in the broader Topeka communitywill bear in mind as we begin one of the most important transitions in our company’s history:

What’s on your mind is what you’re thinking. It’s not about what are you doing. Actually, it’s okay to tell where are you or what are you doing, but in most case, unusually hyperbolic.

First Name, Last Name, Middle Name are your parts on your name, not a life-share. Oh please, c’mon! Facebook is a media to communicate.

Oh please, they have Tidak Ingin Disakiti in their name suffix. Tidak Ingin Disakiti means Don’t Want To Be Hurted. There are more kind of these names.

Siblings, Parents, Children are about your spouse, not your friends.

Indonesian Netters Common Mistakes on Facebook

The title is clear enough, huh? Although I’m an Indonesian, but I’ve known this and maybe doing one of the mistakes. Perhaps, not oftenly do them :p. So, these are them:

Keep adding people although they don’t know who the people is. It’s a troublesome since the emergence of Social Networking. Keep adding the people you don’t know is not convenient for most people you’ve requested. If you have a high rate of rejection… see this:

If you’ve added a lot of people but you also have a high rate of rejection, you’ll see this.

Sharing most of his/her own lifestory on the status. Oh man, most users even don’t care about your every problem. Except, there are some kind people always helping you to solve by commenting your problem. But, if each of your status always have a problem, most people will be annoyed.
Share every activities that you’re doing. Most people will not care about you.
Weird Names, oh no… It even worse. Despite it’s cyber-bullying of those sort people (most people say them as “Alay”), it’s hard to read, hard to mean. I mean, I’m not saying them as Alay. Alay is a preference but please, communication is how 2 people or more can understand how they communicate each other. So, it’s not even a principal of communication. Facebook is a media to connect your friends and help you finding your old friends, but this likely useless if you use weird (no, it’s even worse) name. If you just using like adding Weird after your nickname, it’s still okay. They will make their friend hard to find them. This is policy of changing name in Facebook (seen in Facebook Bahasa Indonesia):

Why, I’m saying the Duet Maut in the title? Yeah, this term is popular in Indonesia as the Deadly Duo. Why I can say like that? Because Telkomsel WILL launce the Opera Mini Packet. It’s unknown how the method is. Is there a daily packet or monthly packet, I don’t know, but the clear information is, once you register to this packet, you can browse all you want unlimitedly with Opera Mini. Same like you use BlackBerry Internet Service.

Previously Telkomsel already launched the chat packet with Mig33, Nimbuzz and eBuddy. Then, if you’re in Indonesia and download the new Opera Mini that is already released as full version, you will see “Sponsored by Telkomsel”. If you also a Telkomsel user, you will say it’s “Optimized for Telkomsel”.

What’s the different anyway?

In the Telkomsel official site, it’s stated that:
