This post is created with Windows Live Writer in the Essentials 2010 Beta. Okay, now I wanna give you to see this software. Honestly, this software is the biggest leap on Windows Live ever. Because somehow it looks richer than before. If you wanna download, the download link is in the end of this post. Okay, let me explain about the suite.

Firstly, I wanna tell you that Microsoft actually gives a documentation about system requirements. Then, you should read it:

Additional requirements

The following components are needed for certain Windows Live programs and may also be installed for you if they're not found on your computer.

  • For Photo Gallery and Movie Maker: Some components of DirectX 9.

  • For Sync: To run Sync on a Mac, you must have OS X 10.5 or newer installed.

Notes
  • To install or uninstall Windows Live software, you must be logged on to the computer using an administrator account.

  • To install platform updates for Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008, click Start, click All Programs, click Windows Update, and then select the updates you want.

Okay, in the following post, I only wanna explain you about these, since I don’t install the all programs on the suite:

  • Windows Live Messenger Beta
  • Windows Live Photo Gallery Beta
  • Windows Live Mail Beta
  • Windows Live Writer Beta
  • Windows Live Movie Maker Beta

then, the rest applications are:

  • Windows Live Family Safety for controlling your family and monitors what are your family doing with your computer.
  • Bing Bar to see search results in Bing without leaving what are you browsing on. (Windows Internet Explorer only)
  • Messenger Companion to share and discuss social activities while surfing the internet. (Windows Internet Explorer only)
  • Windows Live Sync to sync your files between computers and access your primary PC from almost any Internet-connected computer.

Windows Live Messenger

Windows Live Messenger Beta (3)

When I see the interface, I just remember about the Windows Phone 7 interface. Okay, this Windows Live Messenger is now more social. You even can connect it with Facebook and MySpace (although it’s an old feature here) and see the updates right from the messenger. This messenger also informs you about the incoming e-mail in the social highlight. But, for those who want to take the old interface, you can see the button below the close button. For Windows 7 users, you can set your availability right from your superbar.

Windows Live Photo Gallery

Windows Live Photo Gallery Beta (2)Now, the Windows Live Photo Gallery comes with the Ribbon UI. Have more features and now MORE PHOTOSHARING SITES! Hell yeah! This makes the Photo Gallery modern and easy-to-use. Now, the slideshow feature is integrated with the Movie Maker, so that’s why you can’t install Photo Gallery without Movie Maker and vice versa.

Windows Live Movie Maker

My Movie - Windows Live Movie Maker BetaThis application now have more more features than the previous one. More sources, you can even take a video from your webcam. You can also create AutoMovie themes, just like Muvee in some old Nokia Symbian devices. This also has the Visual Effects to create effects on the video. Good application!

Windows Live Mail

All inbox - Windows Live Mail Beta (2)More Outlook… that’s what I think now. Perfect and with Ribbon UI.

Windows Live Writer

Windows Live Essentials 2010 Beta - Windows Live Writer Beta (2)And now, the Windows Live Writer is rich and has the Ribbon UI, just like the Microsoft Office. Having photo-effect, full featured formattings, and even more. This app is now have font-size and font chooser. The things those don’t exist on the previous one.

Okay, this is late night when this post posted. Well, I don’t have enough power to think more. So, this is it. If you wanna download, go to http://explore.live.com/windows-live-essentials-beta to download.
